A very cool projection clock from Oregon Scientific that also happens to come wrapped in an incredible design. Traditional projection clocks allow you to project the time onto any surface from the base station. However, the TimeSphere, designed by Stefano Giovannoni, is the first equipped with a wireless unit. The TimeSphere allows you to project the time in any room while the base station stays put. The mobile sphere is recharged using state of the art induction charging while placed in the base station. It also features a self setting atomic clock, dual alarms w/snooze, indoor temperature, contactless keys for operation and supports five languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

The Toyota Prius is already the darling of the auto eco-friendly world, but not so popular with the performance loving folks. Well that may be changing with the next Prius model. Auto Express is reporting that the next Prius will be equipped with a 1.8 liter turbo charged engine. In addition, the new efficient lithium ion batteries will allow the electric motor to deliver greater performance because the cells recharge faster and can hold a charge longer. It is also reported that it will get twice the mileage of the current model. That could mean 100 mpg! To top all of this off, it is also rumored that Toyota will give folks the option of plugging in the Prius to top off the batteries when not in use! So we are talking about a faster car, better mileage and lower emissions? What a concept.

AppleBerry device? The latest juicy rumor is that Apple and RIM (Blackberry) may be getting together to develop some sort of phone/email/music device. This comes to us via Peter Misek, who accurately predicted a RIM/Intel partnership last year. There doesn’t seem to be too much data backing this up, but then again, that’s why we love these stories. AppleBerry… mmmm… like a warm toasty muffin.
